![]() If and when i do decide to build a dedicated server, it won't be a NAS unit really, most likely just a system with an FX8350 or ryzen 3 and a couple of seagate barracudas along with a single ssd. is that fine? How much big of an SSD will I require for this?ģ. What im doing is installing the Plex app on on SSD I have and linking it to the media harddisks/folders. I've read some places that you don't need a GPU for the media centre, other places i've read that it matters, so a little confused.Ģ. Also, later if I want to transport an internal harddisk overseas are there any precautions I should take? I know an external can be put into carry on or check in baggage, is there a safe way to pack an internal HDD for travel and flight.? Sorry this is very directed for a possible future requirement of mine But I will hold a complete backup on my external harddisks.
